Science and technology play an important part in our life. Technology and science are interrelated, and they can't exist without each other.
Thanks to technology new medicines have appeared, and continue to appear. We recover much more quickly with them than without them, and recover in general.
Phone and network communication have also been developed by science. This helps us to communicate with friends, who are far from us and we don't have a possibility to see them alive, or if some urgent information needs to be transmitted.
Modern (=up-to-date; state of the art) technologies provide me with the required (=necessary) information (via Internet) right from my flat (apartment), unlike a newspaper that I need to go out to buy. There isn't all information necessary for us in the newspaper either, and there is in Internet.
In addition, thanks to engineering we can go by train, plane, or car. It would take us more time to get to a place going on foot, but transportation helps us to save time.
Based on the said above (based on the aforementioned), you can make a conclusion that it's impossible to live in our world without science and techology.
